SLM Factory began when brothers Zach and Darcey Gervaise transformed an old office space above their parents’ school uniform shop into a recording studio. After extensive renovations and hard work, they realised it was the ideal location to start a music school. Drawing from their own years of music lessons, the brothers recognised that while their experiences were positive, traditional music schools often miss the opportunity to nurture each student’s unique talents and individuality. At SLM Factory, the focus is on mentoring students’ musical journeys with a personalised approach. Since no two students share the same style or tastes, the school aims to bring out each individual’s distinct musical voice through tailored teaching methods.
